FAQ - Piercing
How old do I have to be to get pierced?

You need to be 18 years for nipple and genital piercing, 16 years for all other body piercings.

Do I need to book in advance?

Piercing can normaly be done on the day as a walkin. Just come to the shop when you’re in the area and talk to us. If you want to be sure there is a slot available, ring the shop and check availability.

What method do you use?

We use the traditional needle method for all our piercings. All needles are single use and materials are sterilized and sealed.

What after care product do I need?

We recommend piercing care with saline sterilized solution. The piercer will provide you with an aftercare sheet and advice on to take care of your piercing once the piercing is done. We also have piercing after care solution you cna purchase at the shop.

What jewellery is used?

We use standard surgical steel jewellery. This is so the piercing can heal properly. It allows enough room for any swelling and less irritation from unsuitable jewellery materials.  Once that initial stage is complete you can change for another jewellery of your choice. We do not pierce with jewellery brought in by clients.
